Politics Society

The Politics Society unites students with an interest in political current affairs, open discussion and debate. Politics Society will allow you to acquire new academic skills and gain a passion in politics and keep up with updated views and current affairs such as human rights injustices and controversial legislation that has been passed. The skills acquired in this society such as public speaking, leadership, communication and political neutrality will allow you to both implement and utilise them in your aspirational careers. Our weekly meetings embody the structure similar to that of a university seminar, in which all members of the society are encouraged to voice their opinions on our chosen subject and contribute to debates and open discussions. The Politics Society gives its members the opportunity to elevate their passions and interests through engaging and communicating about their academic interest with like minded members, and the opportunity to challenge others.
